Inversions: The Industry Algorithm is Inverted and Reversed to How the Earth and Body Work

You Are Seeing a Version of the World
The human eye does not see the world as it is. Light enters the cornea, passes through the lens, and lands on the retina as an upside-down, mirror-reversed image. The retina sends this inverted signal to the visual cortex. The brain flips it. We experience the world as right-side up because the body has been correcting for the inversion since birth.
The eye works as designed, and the optics require the flip. The brain compensates and actually changes how you understand your view. We learn to trust the correction so completely that we forget the underlying signal is reversed.
Finance, government, and insurance work the same way. The math is inverted and reversed from how the Earth actually runs, and we have built a cultural visual cortex to flip the signal and call it right-side up. The flip is the problem. Beneath the trained perception, the algorithms run counter to the substrate they sit on.
And there is limited sustainability to this strategy.
This post lays out the three algorithms next to the control. The control is the earth. I am providing a full view of each industry and system, including the issues surrounding them. We are very nearly at an intersection that will show how FEAR must be removed from everything we know to get through this view to stop giving it the energy that it is feeding off of.

Earth → Finance
Earth runs on conservation, and the First Law of Thermodynamics holds across every system measured. Energy transforms, and the total inventory stays fixed. Mass cycles, carbon cycles, water cycles, and nitrogen cycles are all part of it. The planet operates on a closed-loop budget set by physics.
Where the earth grows, the growth is logistic. A population, a forest, a coral reef expands toward a carrying capacity K and then stabilizes. The equation is:
dP/dt = rP(1 − P/K)
Growth slows as the system approaches its limit. The system finds its plateau and holds.
Finance runs on a different equation. Compound growth is exponential:
dC/dt = rC, which gives C(t) = C₀ · e^(rt)
At a typical growth target of r = 0.07, capital doubles every ten years. There is no K. There is no ceiling. Growth at this rate across one human lifetime produces a 30x multiplier. Across two lifetimes, 900x.
The two curves are not in the same family, and one bends toward a limit. The other escapes toward infinity. They run on incompatible substrates. The deviation between them is the deficit we now pay in soil, water, atmosphere, and nervous system.
