Sorce Field
You are in your own field of energy. Use this as your way of connecting to the right fields of other energies that support and enhance your mission and vitality.
This is how you hold your energy in your own auric space.
Your Code has to live somewhere because we are all just balls of energy (star dust) and that somewhere it will live is in a specific Sorce Field, which is like a moving energetic expression of light, qi, and harmony. If we look at new-age expression, this is really the aura that plays out in the form of light and flow… this is the glow extending from within us to the outside of us.
Your home, your people, your work, your land, the ones who wander into your orbit and the ones who are here whether you like it or not; they are connected tissue to parts of your Sorce Field, and how you enable them to smash into your Field or leave your Field is the only free will you have in this expression. You are supposed to be within connection with others, these specific ‘others.’ They are your mirrors, your guides, your tricksters, and your teachers throughout your life to ensure your Sorce Code does its job and completes the Mission. And you keep getting tested all along the way with everything you do.
You carry your own Sorce Field around continuously, and you move through everyone else’s, getting pulled toward some setups and shoved out of others. Most of that is happening way under the radar.
Nature-versus-nurture?
Yes and yes. The answer was both, at the same time, always. Bowlby showed back in the middle of the last century that your first field, the bond with whoever was holding you, wires the nervous system itself. Stephen Porges gave us the how with polyvagal theory, the fact that your body is reading every room for safety or threat before your thinking brain gets a vote, a thing he named neuroception. Even your insides do it, your gut and your brain texting back and forth all day long telling you a continual message of feedback and helping you to make decisions to move you through life towards the energy that helps you complete your Mission.
The pull and the repel, the magnetism. Neuroception is the mechanism.
But here’s the thing that’s most important. You have the free will to enter or reject something into your Sorce Field, and this determines how you show up in life. The compromises that you make, as you make them, actually impact your field greatly until there is no additional barrier and it lands in your Code. You are harming yourself.
This is when dis-ease shows up and starts to express itself first in the form of ‘nerves’ and anxiety and then in immune-related disorders included autoimmune after they go on too long. And cancer comes when it needs to be something more permanent that your cells help you get the attention on.
When I read your Sorce Field, I am looking at where you chose to live and who you chose to stand beside, who you actually live with, how much of yourself you spend outside your own space, where you land when you are with other people, and the two that tell the truth fastest, what feels best and what does not feel good at all.
And I am looking at how that arrangement works for your inherent Sorce Code and your overall Mission that you know you will have to care out in this lifetime.
Moving to the woods was the first time I finally allowed my field to recover. For many people, the hustle and bustle of life in the city compromises our field so greatly we don’t even know what we are missing. When we have challenging family trauma or starts in our life that keeps us down, we don’t know what is missing and the tipping point becomes dis-ease. For me, it was the tipping point of my own children’s dis-ease, who are just reflections of what I am going through. And I have seen this play out with a partner's child and a friend’s dog. Any dis-ease you have in your life is directly correlated with a compromise(s) you are making in your field, to your Code and life Mission.
For 14 years, I blamed my ex-husband. Julia Roberts is famous for calling Brad Pitt a “Blame Shifter” in the movie The Mexican. And I was that. I was shifting the blame onto Kurt for not being in my seat of power. I let him rule the roost, and in turn, he didn’t actually rule his own roost. He ruled his idea of what I thought I wanted. So he was compromising his own field, his own codes, and his own mission in the process too. We were both losing out in this.
If I had stayed in my own knowing, my own truth and my own power I would have arrived a very different person and our relationship would have been entirely different. This was my path, and it took me getting off controlled substance medication and recovering (Side note and an important one: alcohol, controlled substances, and non-controlled substances take no less than 7 years to leave your body fully and for you to regain consciousness) to finally realize who I was again and knowing who I was going to be in this world with my mission.
When I woke up, I looked around and couldn’t believe what I had created for myself. The compromises I had made were absolutely everywhere.
Everything I imagined for myself was off. I was living in a developing market in Latin America with two kids, working 2 jobs to maintain our lifestyle, and traveling 100 days a year, while my partner, Kurt, had a house with 3 full-time staff members and spent all his time working on his inner growth. I was bankrolling everyone’s life, but my own. My entire field was working against me, and I was exhausted, felt better off dead, and completely dim.
From that day forward, I made a vow to myself to learn to live in my light again, and I completely recharted my course.
Now, when you make these decisions, you don’t always choose the easiest ones because you are a little rusty and need to retrain yourself to listen deeply. It really didn’t feel exactly right when I made this first decision to move back to the US, but a lot worked out for us very quickly, and within 35 days we were on a plane headed to SF with $150k in cash in our pocket to start a new life. Kurt cried like a baby for 2-hours of our 4-hour flight home.
We landed on December 15, 2019.
It’s easy to blame COVID, but the honest answer is that my Field was not yet vibrant, and I was still struggling even though I had actively chosen this apartment in the city overlooking a park and a private school for the kids. The decision had been quick and I was still out of practice with listening in. And it wasn’t just my Field I had to listen to. My children were struggling with the change, and they missed their friends, their nannies and their life in Latin America.
When COVID hit a few months later, we left our apartment and moved to Bend, Oregon, to be in nature, on a recommendation from a colleague. I later realized that this is where my Field belonged, in nature, and this was the first time I got a real taste of the difference. I could breathe.
It all happens for a reason, and while we have some limited free will, I now understand somatically the difference in the life I was missing: Freedom in nature, space, time, sun on my face, less complication.
What was a horrible experience became a blessing. And nearly a year after our decision to leave our home and life in Latin America, we landed in Connecticut on a Google Search. The entire Field—mine, Kurt’s, the children’s, the Universes, etc.—reoriented itself to receive us here.
And I wouldn’t have learned this teaching without that experience: sometimes you don’t get it right at first, and that’s okay. But if you keep your eye on the prize of what feels good and you do not stop until you do (you stop compromising), you will eventually land exactly where you are supposed to land. In the right place, the right land, the right line for your entire Field to be set up for success, and then you glow. You have a barrier around your Code and you are ready to do the work you were meant to do while you were here.
If you read my article on compromise, you will likely resonate with the feeling of the small and insignificant slivers that eventually take you down.
Your Sorce Field can hold your Sorce Code beautifully or it can quietly grind it down, and the difference is whether the setup around you lets you be yourself or keeps asking you to shrink. When the Field is the thing disrupting you, it is almost never the people… It's you, and it is the arrangement you are allowing with your free will. And any arrangement can change at any time if you allow it to serve your highest purpose and mission.
Join me on the journey
Name the one arrangement in your life that keeps asking you to be this insignificant person.
You don’t need to do anything about it, just say it and release it.
You don’t need that energy anymore.
There is nothing I would do differently in my life, including where I come from and the journey that brought me to my current state. And yet, I know this is not my final destination. I can’t even project at this point what it might look like, but I know when I met Rishabh and landed in India and felt at peace and at home in a way I never have before, I realized that even with all my travels I have made, there is still a lot of work I have to do to complete my Mission and it flows with right time, right place, right circumstance. For example: I went to Taiwan when my mom lived there, and I loved it, but had no desire to go back, but who knows what I would feel like if I landed there today.
I believe that our Fields help orient us through magnetism, and we are just moved wherever we are needed for this role to flow energetically to find your Vitality.
Have faith in yourself and your own truth. Know that your Sorce Code + Sorce Field are doing the work that you are meant to do while you are here… and the slower you go and the more emphasis you place on ‘feeling good’ will be your best guide there.
With Love,
Rache
