Mission
When you find your unique mission and path to fulfill your soul contract, suddenly everything magnetizes around you and you begin to glow. This is the actual Sorce of Vitality.
The glow is the goal.
We are talking through all these various steps to get to Vitality, the glow. And if you have arrived at the mission, you are a few into the overall journey. But this one is the most important part of the effort…. figuring out your expression with your time in this human form.
You came into this life with a contract. Did you know that?
We talked about this a little inside of the article on Sorce Code, because it is the operating system you have been built for in order to fulfill your contract. You need all these components to make it work:
→ Your Mission: I have a follow on article—Soul Contract
I wasn’t sure what to call this effort, so you can refer to it as whatever makes sense for you. You can call it your Soul Contract, your Purpose, or your Mission.
If you keep reading at the bottom, I have an activity for you to find your mission.

So many times people split their life’s mission with their purposeful ‘career’. Let me just say this out loud before I dive into this one: there is no separation between your life and your work. If you need to say that out loud to yourself, go for it, but fully embrace this mindset.
There is no difference between chopping wood and carrying water. It’s the same effort. The same work.
We live a life for, let's say, 100 years, and all of it is work, right up until your death in Graduation from this life to the next. From the day we arrive, we are working towards smiling, towards crawling, towards walking and talking, and then we are working towards friends, relationships, school, the thing that we make money with, the family, and the kids. We are working for all of it. The Mission is the part that gets very little attention until it needs to, and it’s really where we should start.
We waste decades in the wrong careers because we wanted to please our parents in our choice, or it was a ‘practical financial decision’ to do something we dislike. Let me tell you, you are doing no favors for anyone, especially yourself. In the end, you will still have to figure it out, or you will be filled with dis-ease until you have to go through this all over again in the next life.
Why you are here, your entire intention, your work, is to follow through on this contract you made before you came here. You can believe it or not, but if you figure out what makes you feel good and you stick to that, I mean what makes you actually feel good, not some kind of escapism or dopamine effect that is external to yourself, and really dig into that… you will wake up one day feeling your full and whole self, and you will glow from the inside out.
That’s Vitality.
“Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.” —Howard Thurman.
The Mission is the one thing your specific Sorce Code, dropped into your specific Sorce Field, was built to ensure gets carried out. It is why you were placed in your family in the first place: to help you unlock at the earliest possible age and to mobilize. The Code is the operating system. The Mission is the program it was always meant to run. And here is the catch: you do not find it by sitting around asking yourself what it is. You almost never know until it arrives, and when you guess, you tend to name the thing you think you are supposed to want.
People have circled this forever and given it names. The Vedic traditions called it dharma. The Greeks had the daimon, and Aristotle had telos. Then Viktor Frankl, writing his way out of a death camp, put meaning at the center of an entire psychology and showed that a person can survive almost anything as long as they have a purpose. The research caught up to the poetry. A strong sense of purpose tracks with living longer and getting sick less across big studies, and the longevity work keeps landing on the same humble thing: a reason to get up in the morning.
Simon Sinek built his entire platform on the Golden Circle, with Why at the center.
It’s all the same idea, expressed in various ways.

Here is the Engine
The Mission you will learn from arrives only through the patterns. It is the magnetizing atom, the thing quietly pulling you from one pattern into the next, layer by layer, until you land on the work you came here to do. You do not chase it. You work the patterns, and it surfaces. That is the only road in.
And when you stand in it, two things support you:
First, you know what you are here to do, which you only get by digging until it is undeniable, and then letting yourself feel good standing in that power.
Second, you choose the people who belong in your Field alongside it, the ones whose presence serves the contract instead of slicing it down. Every decision after that gets made in service of the first thing, the Mission, the higher self you are actually building toward.
Listen, before I dive into my actual purpose, I want to make sure it is known that my belief system is that we are all just healers in every possible form, and it is our job to walk each other home. I believe that when everyone lives in their power, in their unique operating principles, we ignite an unstoppable collective energy, and that’s the ultimate goal of humanity.
We all have roles in that collective.
My Mission
My role is to support children, parents, and entrepreneurs to find their purpose. I do it through unlocking patterns in nature and dispelling the inversion, showing how we all came here truly Rich by Nature. I am in my purpose now and walking it every single day and it keeps gaining layers and momentum throughout my life.
We all need to somehow make this purpose work in and out of the inversion for the time being. It won’t be forever, but this is the present moment, and it's what we need to do for our own survival. To do that, I have to balance being in and out of this space of knowing and intention, and I have to believe that whoever hires me for coaching thinks I can be helpful and really does meet me as a mirror I need to see and I for them.
After working with over 120 founders and executives and 50 trusted friends over my lifetime, I have gotten pretty good at figuring out people’s mission. In all cases, it was amazing to see the uniqueness and how it manifests in reality. Watching a close friend live in their power is like watching a hologram dancing in the sky. It’s pure magic.
There is always a solution. I had a client recently share her desire to leave her job. She is already a certified coach and is very ready, but she loves her work and her community at her day-to-day job. I asked if there was a reason she doesn’t find a role in her current workplace that would allow her to coach people going through life transformations. This is the time for wild, creative ideas and when you close your eyes and feel into the energy that something can give you by just paying attention to it, you have no idea what might come.
Here’s another example: Years ago I worked for an organization in Latin America, and the CEO had a deep knowing and intuition about the direction she wanted to go. Instead of forcing her to explain her knowing, we focused on framing it in metric-oriented language, and within that, we began building a platform for her purpose to manifest. Over the next ten years, she has used it as the foundation of her work, and now she is no longer just additive; she is conducting research with an institution and plans to publish her work on the lived experience of what she is learning. Her mission is pretty simple: change the way we look at equality, and in her case, it is through the lens of spices and extracts, creativity, and leaning into love. She had been living adjacent to her truth until she was willing to believe fully in herself. And now, her healing journey is complete, and she will begin to heal others through this lens. Her life’s work began at 18, maybe earlier. She just didn’t know it.
That’s how it works. You do until you are ready to give.
Do You Know Your Mission?
If not, this is not a sit-and-ask-yourself exercise, because the Mission does not answer that question. We read the evidence instead, the patterns you have already been living.
Take 30 minutes and spend some time with yourself and your patterns. You can do a breathing exercise before or just free write.
The thing you keep doing whether or not anyone asks you to, at five, at fifteen, at thirty. The through-line, not the job titles.
The three moments you have felt most alive, the real glow, not the dopamine hit. What were you doing in each one, and who was it for?
The thing people keep coming to you for, the help you give so naturally you do not even count it as work.
The thing that makes you angry on someone else’s behalf. It could also be something you just can’t leave alone.
Try to answer these 4 questions as comprehensively as possible.
Then, circle the patterns that you see. Try to get 1 from each question.
Now lay the four patterns next to each other and look for the verb that shows up in more than one. That overlap is the magnetizing atom. It will not be a job title; it will be something you do for people. For example: I see the Inversion, and I help people unblock their path through coaching. I am here to help entrepreneurs & parents decode their roadblocks and clear their pathways for their inner growth.
Write it as one line: I am here to ______ for ______.
Then sit with it for a week and see how it feels.
Invitation
Now that you know your Mission, or at least a piece of it, what would you say “no way” to?
Now expand on it. What would you say, “hell yes” to?
And then can you make a list of boundaries you would like to try to ensure you stay in your truth and your mission?
Another very important learning to be aware of:
The day the Mission surfaces is the day the compromise stops working, because now you have something worth refusing for. Before that, the slivering feels survivable because you don’t know what you are looking for. After it, you feel every cut.
As you lean into your Mission, you will need to be in service to it in everything you do.
Everything will reorganize around your choice of living fully in your power. It is scary to make changes, and having nothing for a while is necessary for many people. Not for everyone, but it does work that way intentionally. You have to get regrounded in yourself and believe you can get out of it on your own.
If I have learned anything in the last year, it’s that we have to actually go through the thing to talk about it from a real, embodied experience. That’s somatic and subconscious talking.
With Love,
Rache
